Massachusetts State Taxes
You may be required to file a Massachusetts state return if you had taxable income at the federal level. There is no need to submit any Massachusetts state tax forms if the only federal tax form you had to complete was Form 8843. Sprintax will determine your Massachusetts status if you used the program to prepare your federal tax return, and will then prepare the forms that you will need to file, if necessary.
