Harvard I.D. Card

To gain access to most Harvard facilities you must show your Harvard photo I.D. card. Students obtain their I.D. cards at registration. Researchers and faculty will receive their I.D. cards by mail from I.D. Card Services (Holyoke Center, room 953, 617-495-3322). Harvard Medical School appointees and scholars at the affiliated hospitals may obtain temporary I.D. cards at the Kresge Building (677 Huntington Ave. 1st floor). Researchers or faculty members who have not received their I.D. cards should check with their departments to be sure that formal appointment papers have been filed with and approved by the appropriate Dean's Office. Your Harvard I.D. can be used as a library card in the Harvard library system and it can be used as a Crimson Cash card, or debit card to pay for certain services on-campus and off-campus.
